This is the about me page

My name is Jenn Wilson. I was born in Adelaide, Australia which is Kaurna country, and I currently live in Melbourne, Australia on the lands of the Bunurong people. I live with two cats (one with white and black markings, the other is a calico) and one husband (blonde). My own hair oscillates between teal and pink, with some amount of personal effort each time to alter it. My favourite shape is a rhombus, and has been since childhood.

I’m in the final stages of my PhD, which I am doing at Monash University, where I sit within the Faculty of Arts. I am also affiliated with the Centre for Automated Decision Making and Society. You can read about my PhD, where I used large language models (two open-weight, one proprietary) to produce explanatory text about several pieces of federal Australian Parliamentary legislation. My thesis discusses hallucination, omission, and emotion in the outputs of the models.

I am the kind of person who has side projects. I have two additional projects presently: one on Dolly magazine and one on rental legislation.
